Sludge was a Vancouver hardcore band that were around from 1988 to late 1996.They released several tapes,a CD "Coquitlam" and a split 7" with the Rusty Nails.There sound was a slower heavier hardcore...with parts written so members could imbibe in their favourite beer.They started in Coquitlam,a suburb of Vancouver,but soon after were based out of the infamous Sludge House in East Vancouver,at Clark and 12th.Featuring future members of Old Man Strength
